Where is It? What is it?

So many people strive for it. So many people will do anything to have it. People go far and wide to find it. Some people spend sleepless nights trying to figure it out. Some people give up trying to find it. Individuals who give up never find it. Those who seek it diligently find it. Perhaps, you are thinking that thing is very essential and everyone must be looking for it that's why its scarce. The truth is that some people don't even care to search for it. What’s the deal with these individuals? (I would tell you if I knew).Success. It is a virus that has affected our minds. We all want this virus. It’s the best virus that anyone can have. I call it virus because, depending on how you manage it, it can either make you or break you. For all that seek it; it’s the defining point of self-actualization. When you see a successful individual, you will know he is successful. Where is this virus called success? From where did those who found it get it?
The answer to these questions is simple. Your ability to succeed is right within you. Its right on your finger tip. Those who found it are not lucky. They just didn't give up. They say to themselves 'I will make it". No doubt, they did. Success is very relative. The idea of success varies from one person to another. I count myself as one of the successful individuals that roam the planet. Now, I'm not just saying that because it feels good. I actually see my self as being successful. Now you might say to yourself 'he is just being full of himself'.The truth is that until you count yourself as a success, you are not a success. Do you think people who we consider successful don't want to attain a higher level of success? Although they are successful, they still strive to be more successful. These successful people measure their success according to their own scale. That's how it should be done. Until you manufacture a scale to measure your success, you will never be successful. You will keep searching for it and you will never know when you have it.
This is how I measure mine thus the reason I identify myself as successful. I measure my success based on previous success. I strive to do better. As a student, I strive to do better than I did on the last test. If I can achieve this, then I am successful. Most people compare their success to other people's success. This is very unhealthy. What works for person A may and may not work for person B. Person B will continue to strive to attain person A's success but will never make it. Meanwhile Person A is striving for higher grounds. The reason for this is so simple. You are not person A.
I advise you to find what works for you. Do it your way. Measure your success your way. This way, you will be less stressed. You will be happier knowing that you are actually making success. And when you realize this, manage your success well.
